Mulberry hosts a dinner (with a performance by Lana Del Rey) to celebrate the first New York Frieze Art Fair

The Mulberry fashion house has hosted a dinner at The Crown restaurant on the Upper East Side to celebrate the first Frieze Art Fair in New York.

The dinner was also to mark the Frieze Projects, a not-for-profit initiative sponsored by Mulberry that has seen a series of works by John Ahearn, Uri Aran, Ulla von Brandenburg, Latifa Echakhch, Joel Kyack, Rick Moody, Virginia Overton and Tim Rollins installed in the open air on Randall’s Island.

Alongside Emma Hill (creative director of Mulberry), Amanda Sharp and Matthew Slotover (the founders of Frieze), guests at the formal dinner included Alexa Chung, Lauren Remington-Platt, Jenna Courtin-Clarins and Cecilia Alemani. The event included a live performance by Lana del Rey (who inspired the new Mulberry bag).
